Reviews of Hemet

Positive Reviews

“My family and I love that it’s less crowded here and less traffic. Our neighborhood is very clean, friendly and take pride in ownership. They look out for one another, which is nice for a change. It is very quiet, calm in our neighborhood and we also feel very safe. My favorite thing about Hemet is how you are surrounded by nature. There are many wonderful outdoor activities nearby, camping in Lake Hemet, hiking in the beautiful mountains of San Jacinto, birdwatching in the San Jacinto Wildlife area, and boat fishing in the Diamond Valley Lake!” – Current Resident

Negative Reviews

“Things have definitely changed in the last 30 years we’ve lived here. Some for better, others not. But ultimately it’s a very neighborly valley. People really take care of each other here. They come together in a crisis (Fires, tragedies etc). We are surrounded by mountains in all directions. Those of us who live in the east/Valle Vista area occasionally get a little of the white stuff in winter. There is a ton of nature attractions for bird watching, Mt biking, hiking, off-roading, and just outdoor living. Our little house is nothing special but it was built on nearly a half acre. There’s definitely more room to spread out. I often travel from San Diego and find myself so glad to be out of the traffic and crowds when driving home down Domenigoni Hwy. There’s still a simplicity here. We look at moving all the time. Maybe in retirement, but I would miss the little hidden gem of the San Jacinto Valley area.” – Current Resident
